COTTLE Warren H.

Warren H. Cottle, 91, died at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on October 31, 2010. He was born on January, 20, 1919 and grew up in Toledo, graduating from DeVilbiss High School and The University of Toledo.

Warren was a Marine, high school Teacher/Coach in Fenton, MI, worked in Industrial Relations at Willys-Overland/Kaiser Jeep and as a Supervisor for the Toledo Health Dept. He was a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church and The International Brotherhood of Magicians and known as "Mr. Bones". Also, Warren was a loyal University of Michigan fan.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Gifford W. and Elizabeth R. (Filsinger) Cottle; brother, Gifford F. Cottle and nephew, Tim Cottle. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Adolfo) Cottle; step-children, Marilou Buenafe and Emmanuel Gaculais; brother, William W. Cottle; nieces, Dawn Latta and Karen (Mike) Zawisza, nephew, Scott Cottle; great nieces and nephew; and Sara Cottle.

Visitation will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 6, 2010, in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Ave., where a memorial service will follow beginning at 2pm. Rev/ Donald Brewer Officiant. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Warren H. Cottle Memorial Fund.
